Women in Ondo State under the umbrella of Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) have declared their support to deliver 95 per cent votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The group, led by its State Women Wing Coordinator, Yetunde Adeyanju, during their inauguration on Thursday in Akure, the Ondo state capital said they are ready to mobilise all the electorate across all the 18 local government areas of Ondo State to deliver 95 per cent of the votes to Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
According to her, the women group had already commenced the implementation of a ‘robust’ strategy to reach every nook and cranny of the Ondo state, up to the smallest cells of villages and hamlets.
Adeyanju said; “the effort is aimed at winning to support and votes for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress. We will go out to talk to the citizens of Ondo State to vote massively for Tinubu come 2027 presidential election.

“This is Asiwaju Mandate Group, Women’s Wing, comprising a gender-based group put together by the Honourable Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
“We are inaugurating all the coordinators for the 203 wards in Ondo State across the 18 local government areas of the state alongside my deputy and other executive members.
“Our mandate is basically to go to all the 18 local governments of Ondo State, to mobilize our women out, to educate and sensitize them.
“The mandate of this group given to us by the Honourable Minister of Interior is to talk to every woman in Ondo State and to ensure that every woman in Ondo State votes for our dear President and by the special grace of God, we’ve been around for a while, we’ve been all of us here, we have our track records, we’ve been part of government in Ondo State for over two decades.
“The women in Ondo State know us and they know what we stand for. So definitely they will listen to us.
“Our President deserves to be re-elected because of all the developmental programmes he has started implementing for Nigeria.”
While the Director General of the Asiwaju Mandate Group, Olumuyiwa Asagunla said; “we are mobilizing our women across the state, to sensitize the people on the need to vote APC and to vote for our dear President, Bola Tinubu.
“This is not the time to campaign for Asiwaju, but what we are out for, I mean, Asiwaju Mandate Group, ably formed and funded by Honourable Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, what we are out for is to sensitize our people about the good works, the things our President, Bola Tinubu has done through the Renewed Hope Agenda so that he can continue.”
