VNL Capital Asset Management has appointed Chiedu Ojemaye as Executive Director, strengthening the firm’s leadership as it continues to expand its presence in Nigeria’s investment and asset management landscape.
Ojemaye brings over 18 years of experience across banking, financial strategy, and capital markets, with deep expertise in corporate banking, capital management, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic financial planning.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Head of Treasury at CHI Limited, where he led the company’s financial strategy, liquidity management, and banking relationships, supporting the organization’s funding, foreign exchange management, and capital optimization initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Ojemaye spent over a decade at United Bank for Africa (UBA), where he managed relationships with multinational and local corporate clients and structured financing solutions to support business expansion and investment growth.
Ojemaye holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Lagos Business School, an MBA, and a degree in Economics. He is member of the Chartered Institute of Directors.
