It has been revealed that Chris Uwaje, Chief Executive Officer, Connect Technologies Limited and former president, Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (Ispon) would chair the median edition of ICT Success Summit 2016.
Organisers of the summit Datapoint Consulting and Nigeria CommunicationsWeek say that Uwaje was selected because of his passion for the growth of information and communications technology in the country.
According to Lucky Uduikhue Program Coordinator, ICT Success Summit; “the ICT industry heavyweights have confirmed attendance to this event which would also feature presentation of awards to deserving companies.
“We therefore invite people to take their place among the finest and brightest companies and other individuals who have helped put Nigeria on the global ICT map.
This celebration also offers ICT Companies excellent opportunity to showcase some of their achievements before the largest gathering of ICT industry players under one roof.
“We therefore encourage organisations to be part of this success story and tell their success story in a special way that depicts what ICT stands for in Nigeria,” Uduikhue added.
Ken Nwogbo, chief executive officer, Nigeria CommunicationsWeek, said there won’t be a dull moment with the summit which draws top politicians and government functionaries as well captains in the ICT industry as well as financial institutions.
“Already, top business leaders and government officials have confirmed attendance. We will also have major purchasers and consumers at the event as well as crème of ICT business in the country,” Nwogbo said.
The upcoming summit which is scheduled to hold in Lagos on October 29 2016, would enable consumers of ICT products and services meet with the service providers, resellers and other partners to tell these success stories first hand.
