…As Akusu wins fast rising PR practitioner
Soulcommunications Limited has been recognised as the outstanding Public Relations (PR) agency of the year 2025, just as Onoriode Akusu emerged as the fast rising PR practitioner of the year by Media Consortium.
“This honour is not just about what we have achieved, but about where we are going,” said Ugochukwu Uwajeh, senior group head, public relations & events, Soulcomms, said at the Media Consortium 3.0 conference & awards 2025, themed ‘Defining ‘Value’ in the Modern Marketplace: Beyond Price, Quality, Experience and Ethics.’
According to him, the recognition is more than an award because it reflected Soulcomms’ two-decade journey of reimagining storytelling and brand engagement. He disclosed that the PR agency has consistently delivered campaigns that do more than communicate; they inspire trust, spark conversations, and create measurable impact.
“For more than twenty years, Soulcomms has stayed true to its purpose, to tell bold stories and create experiences that inspire and connect. This award belongs to our clients, partners, and the Soulcomms team whose creativity and resilience continue to raise the bar.”
According to Uwajeh, the award comes at a pivotal moment in the agency’s evolution, with a refreshed identity anchored on its “4-I” values – Image, Imagination, Intelligence, and Interaction coupled with the expansion into digital innovations.
He said Soulcomms is positioning itself as a forward-thinking partner for brands navigating both local and global markets.
“This recognition underscores our belief that great work is built on strategy, creativity, and collaboration. As we evolve, we remain focused on delivering communications that are not just impactful, but transformative,” Ayodeji Onabajo, chief operating officer, Soulcomms, said.
