The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State has successfully conducted its ward congresses across the 244 wards in the 23 local government areas of the state.
The Chairman of the APC National Congress Committee for Sokoto State, Lawali Liman Kaura, disclosed this while expressing satisfaction with the exercise.
Speaking after an inspection tour of some wards in the state, Kaura, alongside the Committee Secretary, Zubairu Muhammad Lawali, commended party members for the discipline and orderliness displayed throughout the process.

The Congress Committee Chairman described the conduct of members during the ward congresses as a practical demonstration of the party’s symbol the broom which represents unity and collective strength.
He appealed to all party faithful to maintain the same spirit of unity and peaceful conduct during the forthcoming local government congresses scheduled for Saturday.
Hon. Kaura also praised the Sokoto State APC leadership for what he described as excellent arrangements that ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the exercise.
