The Senate at the weekend asked the management of Aero Contractors to recall the over 600 workers it sacked from the employ of the company three weeks ago.
The directive was contained in a resolution at the end of a meeting of the aviation unions, Aero management and the Senate at the weekend.
The Senate ordered Aero to withdraw the dismissal letters issued the disengaged staff and put in place a framework or a committee to re-appraise and re-validate the staff disengaged from its service in order to ascertain those to be re-absorbed or sacked.
It also asked the company to liaise with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) while replacing staff that will be disengaged in order to follow normal laid down regulations.

The Ministry of Labour and Productivity had last week waded into the crisis that has pitched Aero Contractors and its workers.
The ministry officials too, it was learnt, met with the airline and union members.
