Amid reports that AC Milan are considering offloading Samuel Chukwueze this summer, the Nigerian international has dropped a strong hint that he intends to remain at San Siro.
The 26-year-old winger took to Instagram to share a photo of himself wearing a classic AC Milan jersey, accompanied by red and black heart emojis, widely seen as a subtle message of loyalty to the Rossoneri.
His post received likes from teammates Rafael Leão and Fikayo Tomori, sparking speculation that Chukwueze is keen to fight for his place.
Chukwueze joined AC Milan from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 for €21 million but has struggled to consistently secure a starting role. He has registered eight goals and six assists in 69 appearances across all competitions.
Despite his public show of commitment, uncertainty lingers over his future. According to Italian media, new manager Massimiliano Allegri is considering bringing back Alexis Saelemaekers from his loan spell at Roma to serve as backup to Christian Pulisic, potentially pushing Chukwueze further down the pecking order.
With Milan set for a squad reshuffle ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, the club must now decide whether Chukwueze’s desire to stay aligns with their strategic plans.
