Focal Point Property Development and Management Services Ltd has acquired 74 acres of land in Kobape, Abeokuta, Ogun State, to begin Phase One of 2 Seasons, a regenerative lifestyle city that will bring together housing, wellness, tourism, and business.
“We believe Ogun is the next frontier. As Lagos grows, the spillover will need to find destinations that combine nature, wellness, and modern living. 2 Seasons will be among the first to capture and welcome this wave,” said Tolulope Olugbode, Chief Executive Officer of Focal Point Properties.
Located just 90 minutes from Lagos, the development seeks to provide an alternative to the country’s most populated city, which now has more than 24 million residents and faces limited land supply, rising costs, and pressure on infrastructure. Ogun State, with its land space and cultural heritage, is being positioned as the next destination for families, businesses, and visitors who want access to both modern living and natural surroundings.
The project, designed by architects and engineers with over 40 years of combined experience, is being developed alongside a team of creatives from across Nigeria, ensuring that the city will serve both as a residential hub and a cultural and tourism centre.
Phase One has been planned around four main areas. The residential section will feature cottages, duplexes, and apartments alongside landscaped parks, a jogging and cycling loop, smart schools, and healthcare facilities. A wellness hub will provide swimming pools, a sauna, gym, yoga pavilion, and courts for basketball, lawn tennis, and table tennis, while True Vine Lake Front Villa will offer villas for short stays, second homes, or primary residences with access to a man-made lake for water-based activities. Hygge Town will function as the commercial and cultural core, combining retail outlets, co-working spaces, agency headquarters, startup launchpads, streaming studios, and a sports academy designed to train 100 young people each year.
Ownership opportunities are now open, with 50,000 square metres (100 plots) available in the residential section at ₦10,000 per square metre, 10,000 square metres in True Vine Lake Front Villa at ₦25,000 per square metre, and 10,000 square metres in Hygge Town at ₦50,000 per square metre.
Future phases are expected to expand on these plans and introduce additional facilities, further positioning Ogun State as a centre for regenerative living, tourism, and economic growth.
