The All Progressives Congress in Lagos has been thrown into mourning following the death of its Assistant Publicity Secretary, Karamo Yesiro.
Yesiro was among the newly elected executive members of the party at the Lagos State congress held on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan.
Details surrounding his death were not immediately available at press time, but multiple reports said he died in his sleep.
He was expected to be officially sworn in on Thursday, 5 March 2026, alongside other executives elected during the congress.
