Bukky Akomolafe has been appointed Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Flytime Promotions to accelerate innovation, strengthen business operations, and reinforce Flytime’s role as a global ambassador for African entertainment.
Akomolafe returns to Flytime with over a decade of experience in strategic leadership and marketing. She most recently served as country manager at Travelstart, where she led key initiatives that drove significant revenue growth over her eight-year tenure.
Flytime Promotions is a Nigerian entertainment company since 2004. With over 21 years of experience, Flytime has delivered world-class events that showcase the extraordinary talent of both emerging and established Nigerian and African artists.
Akomolafe’s previous roles include head of marketing for Rhythm Unplugged, Flytime’s flagship concert series, where she played a crucial role in expanding the brand’s visibility and audience engagement.
Akomolafe is an MBA graduate of the Yale School of Management. She also brings global experience from leading firms such as JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Ogilvy & Mather. She has been widely recognised for her contributions to the industry, including receiving The Future Awards Africa Prize for Professional Service and being named among Nigeria’s 100 Most Inspiring Women.
In her new role, Akomolafe will spearhead Flytime’s business development, drive strategic partnerships, and oversee innovative growth initiatives aimed at expanding the company’s global footprint and enhancing its reputation for delivering world-class entertainment.
