L’Oréal Professionnel Paris has introduced its latest innovation, the Absolut Repair Molecular (ARM) Bi-Phase Oil, during an experiential launch event in Nigeria.
The event, themed “The Repair Event,” brought together hair professionals, salon owners, beauty influencers, and enthusiasts for an evening focused on the science behind professional hair restoration. The launch also highlighted the brand’s existing Absolut Repair 10-in-1 Oil, positioning both products as a complementary system delivering what the brand described as the “Dual Power of Repair”.
According to the company, the newly introduced Absolut Repair Molecular Bi-Phase Oil is formulated to repair hair damage at a molecular level from the first use. The product combines a water-based phase enriched with peptides and amino acids designed to penetrate deep into the hair fibre and rebuild internal strength with an oil-based phase that coats the hair surface, helping to seal split ends, reduce frizz, and deliver lightweight shine.
Complementing this deeper repair technology, the Absolut Repair 10-in-1 Oil focuses on surface-level nourishment, smoothing, protection, and improved hair manageability, creating a complete repair system suitable for different hair textures, including natural and relaxed hair.
A highlight of the evening was a masterclass session featuring author Paige Lewin, who discussed the importance of proper hair care and the role of professional repair solutions in maintaining healthy hair across diverse lifestyles and textures.
Speaking at the event, Karim Aoun, commercial director for L’Oréal Professional Products Division in Sub-Saharan Africa Zone, said the product reflects the company’s science-driven approach to beauty innovation.
“With the Absolut Repair Molecular Bi-Phase Oil, we are moving beyond surface treatment to molecular repair, equipping professionals and consumers with solutions that deliver visible results,” he said.
The launch underscores L’Oréal Professionnel Paris’ continued focus on bringing advanced, salon-grade hair repair solutions to the Nigerian market.
