Damilola Adeniyi, daughter of legendary Juju musician King Sunny Ade, has publicly raised concerns about her father’s safety and well-being, suggesting he may be missing or under undue influence.
Over the past two days, Damilola has taken to her Instagram page to express worry, alleging that her father could be a victim of manipulation and is potentially no longer in full control of his finances or personal decisions.
Without providing concrete evidence, she hinted that those close to the music icon, including his manager, may be involved. Damilola called on the relevant authorities to investigate the matter.
In one of her posts, she claimed King Sunny Ade was being “moved around without proper oversight” and pointed to what she described as signs of financial mismanagement and unpaid hotel bills, raising suspicions that he may not be managing his affairs independently.
“I want the authorities to step in. I believe there is financial mismanagement happening, and my father’s welfare is at stake,” she wrote.
As of the time of this report, neither King Sunny Ade nor his management team has issued an official response to the claims.
