The ongoing Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc Series 13 & 14 Commercial Paper (CP) offer of up to N50 billion is scheduled to close on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The Series 13 & 14 CP is under Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc N300billion Commercial Paper Issuance Programme.
The company is a subsidiary of Dangote Industries Limited and engaged in the refining, distributing, and marketing of granulated sugar to wholesalers and top players in the skin care, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
In June, it offered series 10-12 Commercial Paper of up to N100 billion. In February, Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc shopped up to N50 billion by offering Series 8 and 9 CPs Commercial Paper under its N150billion Commercial Paper Issuance Programme.
Arnold Ekpe was appointed chairman of Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc effective June 16, 2025 following the retirement of Aliko Dangote as chairman. Aliko Dangote is one of the founding Directors of the Company, and served with exceptional leadership, integrity, and vision since 2005.
Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc is Sub-Saharan Africa’s largest sugar refinery, with a combined installed refining capacity of 1.49 MMT per annum. In the medium term, the Company is targeting additional 1.5MMT of refined sugar from locally grown sugarcane and is on track to becoming a leading global integrated sugar producer with its backward integration plan.
