Kano State Hisbah Commission says its third batch of mass wedding for widows and divorcees will take place on April 7.
The director-general, Sa’id Sufi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano that the event would be unique.

“Before the wedding, there would be series of activities to both the brides and grooms as was done with other sets of weddings that took place last year,” he said.
Sufi said the commission had received donations from individuals and groups for the success of the wedding.
