Benidon Gardens, a subsidiary of Benidon Hotels, is now open to the public in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State.
The new facility, situated on the same street with Benidon Hotel was established to provide recreational, health and entertainment services to the public, says Israel, a senior staff of the hotel.
He told Business South-South that the new facility is equipped with a 500-capacity hall for weddings, a fitness centre, club hall, indoor sports hall, a children’s play ground and a section for Barbecue.
The Garden also offers outdoor catering services as well as rent out balloon castles for children parties to interested individuals.
The emergence of Benidon Hotel & Resorts in the commercial city of Aba has further pushed up competition in the city’s hospitality industry, regarded as one of the fastest growing in Nigeria.
Situated at Immaculate Avenue, Umungasi area of Aba, the management says they are in the hospitality business to shore up the sector with better service delivery.
Some hotels lack good service delivery and that is an aspect that we want to improve upon because it matters so much to guests, says Ben Onuoha, director, Benidon Hotels & Resort Limited Apart from having a suite with a waiting room, bedroom and Jacuzzi bath, Benidon also has well furnished room types to cater for guests and they include the Queen and Kings, all equipped with internet facilities to enable guests to transact business or reach their loved ones from their hotel rooms. Lodgers bar, exclusively for lodgers, 500- capacity hall, for weddings and conferences and also offers outdoor catering services.
According to Onuoha, “We have been in the system for three years now, making sure that our guests are comfortable. We have state-of-the-art facilities, from our cozy rooms to good dishes and choice wines, all at affordable rates.”
