The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has deployed Batch ‘C’ corps members to rural areas in Kaduna State after they completed the 21-day orientation course.
Speaking at the closing ceremony held at the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, Government College, Kaduna, on Tuesday, Governor Uba Sani congratulated the corps members on their successful orientation.
“I urge you to accept your posting in good faith, settle down quickly, and respect the customs and traditions of your host communities,” he said.

Represented by Ibrahim Gloria, Commissioner for Youth Development, the governor emphasised the importance of dedication, professionalism, and a spirit of service as they begin their primary assignments.
He assured the corps members that the state government was committed to providing the necessary support to ensure a productive and rewarding service year.
“Your role is crucial in promoting national unity and development. I assure you that the state government will continue to provide the support needed for a productive and rewarding service year,” he added.
Earlier, Efeke Murna Dadaza, NYSC Kaduna State Coordinator, commended the corps members for their exceptional performance during the orientation course.
“I encourage you to engage in Community Development Service projects that positively impact your host communities and build on the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development training you received,” Dadaza said.
She also reminded the corps members to shun social vices such as corruption, nepotism, tribalism, and religious bigotry.
“Your service is not just about personal growth but also about contributing to the development of our great nation,” she emphasised.
BusinessDay reports that the corps members will now embark on the next phase of their journey, serving the state and the nation through their primary assignments, community development services, and ultimately, the passing-out parade in about 10 months.
