Chemical and Allied Products Plc (CAP Plc), the maker of Dulux paints in Nigeria, is doubling down on retail innovation as it seeks to deepen consumer loyalty and reinforce its leadership in the country’s decorative paints market.
The company recently unveiled a new Dulux Colour Centre at 18A Fola Osibo Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, as it deepens its strategy to create more immersive, experience-driven retail spaces that go beyond conventional paint shops.
According to the company, the new centre is designed to transform how customers interact with paint products. From intuitive colour selection tools to a cosy consultation lounge and in-store tinting systems capable of precision-mixing thousands of Dulux shades, the space is tailored to make colour choice more accessible and enjoyable for both homeowners and professionals.
“The opening of our Fola Osibo Colour Centre is a demonstration of our commitment to better serve our customers,” said Atoyebi Oyelere, Head of Commercial (Retail) at CAP Plc.

Experts believe that retail transformations are becoming increasingly necessary as consumer expectations evolve. Nigerian shoppers are becoming more design-conscious and digitally informed, making the traditional hardware-store model less effective for premium brands like Dulux.
The Lekki Colour Centre is part of a nationwide rollout of similar experience hubs, as CAP Plc aims to embed its brand deeper into residential and commercial projects across Nigeria.
