Adelaja Adeoye, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fendini Homes Limited has called for collaboration of developers with governments so as to close the about 28 million housing deficit and make homes more affordable to Nigerians.
According to Adeoye, we want to encourage Federal Government, and State governments to partner with developers, and all the stakeholders in the real Estate sector, so that homes can be more affordable.
While saying there was need to mitigate against the inflation and high cost of building materials, he called on government to subsidise building materials in a bid to bring down the high cost of construction in the country.
“Stakeholders has a lot to do in managing the cost, and final price of real estate products. The cost of purchasing iron bars, cement, roofing sheets and other buildings materials including aggregates has made it very difficult to mass produce housing, which is intended to close the about 28 million housing deficit in the country.
“Oyo State Government, has led a strategic partnership in housing development and it is good for others in various government cadres at national and Sub national level to emulate Gov Seyi Makinde’s Public Private Partnership initiatives on housing development.
However, opportunity has opened for investors desiring to invest in a real estate scheme of the company.
Halima Abdulrafiu ,Head of Customer Relations for Fendini Group, disclosed that company has unveiled a new range of luxurious 4 and 5-bedroom penthouses and duplexes, further enhancing its premium real estate offerings.
According to Halima, the company aims to lead the real estate market in Oyo State by setting new standards. The growing economy of Oyo State and the increasing number of CEOs and business leaders relocating to Ibadan informed the company’s decision to design functional and luxurious duplexes.
