The Akwa Ibom government has assured workers at the Ibom airport of improved welfare and a better condition of service that would ensure increased productivity.
The board chairman of Ibom Airport Development Company (IADL), Idongesit Nkanga, gave the assurances during a meeting between the board and the staff of the airport.

Nkanga said that the staff owed the state government a high sense of responsibility, even in their agitations for improved welfare, saying they should imbibe discipline and hard work.
