Cadbury Nigeria Plc, a frontrunner in the confectionery and food beverages recently launched Tang, a global leader in powdered beverages already enjoyed in over 30 countries in the world and their latest brand offering in Nigeria.
Tang is a fruit-flavoured powdered beverage made from a 100% natural flavour base and formulated to include many vitamins (such as Vitamins A, B, C) and minerals.
Tang has been in existence since 1959 and today, it is available in three flavours in Nigeria – apple, orange and pineapple.
In his opening remark at the launch, Emil Moskofian, managing director, Cadbury Nigeria Plc, said “At Cadbury, we have a longstanding pedigree for manufacturing and marketing brands of consistently high quality that people love. We already have market leaders in the food drinks and candy segments of our market that have been successful over several decades. Now, with the introduction of Tang, our portfolio expands to include the powdered beverage segment.”

It was a fun-filled day for families who brought their children as they made away with gift items after participating in various games.
Stella Nsukuma, a winner of a bicycle at the games was filled with excitement. According to Chika Nsukuma, her mother, “we just came here to have fun and relax and I am happy she is leaving with a bicycle. It is a laudable act by Cadbury and such programs are engaging for both children and their parents. I love the taste of Tang too, it is also something extra for her to take to school and have during lunch time.”
Tang comes in a trendy 10g 3-pack and a 50g pack designed to encourage sharing among families and friends.
