Members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet in Abuja on Wednesday following the judgment of the Court of Appeal of Nigeria affirming the nullification of the party’s national convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15 and 16, 2025.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, Mao Ohuabunwa, chairman of the PDP BoT, said the meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at 1, Sabo Ago Street, LifeCamp, Abuja.
Ohuabunwa said the notice serves as a formal invitation to members of the board to attend the meeting, which comes amid ongoing developments within the party following the appellate court’s decision.
He stated that the BoT convening the meeting is the one recognised by the Abdulrahman/Anyanwu-led National Caretaker Working Committee (NCWC), in line with the earlier ruling of the Federal High Court and its affirmation by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
The BoT chairman advised members to disregard any other notice calling for a meeting of the board, stressing that only duly notified members would be accredited to attend.
He also warned non-members to stay away from the meeting venue.
