South African Premier League giants Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly interested in securing the signature of Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
Nwabali has been the subject of intense transfer speculation since terminating his contract with Chippa United last month, a development that has made him one of the most sought-after free agents in the market.
Sources indicate that the Soweto-based outfit are keen to land the Nigerian international on a permanent deal as they look to strengthen their goalkeeping department.

The Glamour Boys have long admired Nwabali but previously refrained from making a move due to the presence of established first-choice goalkeeper Brandon Petersen.
However, according to Afrik-Foot, Chiefs are now actively exploring options following Petersen’s recent appendix surgery, which has forced a reassessment of their goalkeeping depth.
The 29-year-old was previously linked to the Chiefs after his standout performances for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, which enhanced his reputation as one of the top goalkeepers in the South African Premier League.
Currently fifth in the league standings, Kaizer Chiefs trail leaders Orlando Pirates by 11 points. The potential acquisition of Stanley Nwabali could bolster their title ambitions and strengthen their push to reclaim domestic supremacy.
