Prince Ebube Obi, Managing Director of Ventura Hotel & Suites, has said Nigeria’s hospitality industry is progressing towards alignment with global standards in service delivery, infrastructure, and guest experience.
Prince Obi made the statement while speaking on developments within the sector, noting that hotels across the country are adopting international practices, technology-driven operations, and service models that place guests at the centre of decision-making.
He said the industry has changed in recent years due to increased travel activity, economic engagement, and exposure to global hospitality systems. According to him, service quality, safety, ambience, convenience, and consistency now play a central role in determining success within the sector.
Prince Obi explained that Ventura Hotel & Suites is located directly opposite the Asaba International Airport, a factor he described as key to the experience offered to guests. He said the proximity allows travellers to move easily between the airport and the hotel while maintaining comfort and security.
“Location is a critical part of the guest experience. Being right opposite the Asaba International Airport allows us to provide unmatched convenience for travellers while still delivering comfort, security, and premium hospitality,” Prince Obi said.
He noted that Asaba has continued to record growth in commercial, government, and investment activities, leading to increased demand for hospitality services. In response, he said Ventura Hotel & Suites has positioned itself to serve guests who require privacy, efficiency, and personalised service, including business leaders, corporate executives, investors, and frequent travellers.
According to Prince Obi, the hotel’s approach to design, service delivery, and daily operations is shaped by the needs of guests who seek more than accommodation but a complete hospitality experience.
He also highlighted the role of staff development in sustaining standards, stating that regular training, professionalism, and attention to detail remain part of Ventura’s operational focus.
Prince Obi expressed confidence in the future of Nigeria’s hospitality industry, saying that continued investment, innovation, and commitment can place the country among leading hospitality markets on the continent.
“As the industry continues to evolve, hotels like Ventura are not only meeting global standards but redefining luxury and service in a way that reflects our culture, warmth, and unique Nigerian hospitality,” he said.
Ventura Hotel & Suites, he added, remains focused on delivering comfort and personalised service to local and international guests as part of its contribution to the sector’s growth.
