On Friday, May 2, 2025, Wiseview Legal Consultancy gathered clients, staff, family, and friends to celebrate a milestone 15th anniversary — a testament to years of legal distinction, teamwork, and unwavering dedication. The event also marked the 85th birthday of the firm’s esteemed Founder, Hon. Justice George Adesola Oguntade CFR (rtd), whose vision laid the foundation for what has become one of Nigeria’s foremost legal consultancies.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Rt. Rev. Akinpelu Johnson, Diocesan Bishop of Lagos Mainland (Anglican Diocese); Chief G.M.O. Oguntade SAN; Dr. Kemi Pinheiro SAN; Mr. Adekunle Oyesanya SAN; and Mr. Chukwudi Enebeli SAN, all of whom joined to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the firm and its people.
The evening was not only a tribute to Justice G. A. Oguntade CFR (rtd), who officially stepped away from the firm’s management in 2017 following his Federal Government appointment as High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, but also a recognition of the remarkable leadership and collective commitment that has sustained Wiseview Legal Consultancy over the years.
Since its inception, Wiseview Legal has grown into a vibrant law firm, proficient in Property and Commercial Law, Arbitration, Project Finance, Dispute Resolution, and several other critical areas. Under the stewardship of Mrs. Abosede Oworu, Managing Partner, and Mr. Gbenga Ajala, Deputy Managing Partner, the firm has continually advanced the values of excellence, integrity, and client-focused service.
Opening the event, Mrs. Oworu read from Psalm 100:1–5 and spoke about the importance of giving thanks, reflecting on the grace and opportunities that have sustained Wiseview Legal Consultancy through the years.
“While we stand on the solid foundation laid by Hon. Justice George Adesola Oguntade CFR (rtd), today’s celebration is equally about the relentless hard work, resilience, and brilliance of the Wiseview Legal team,” Mr. Ajala remarked. “Our journey of 15 years has been shaped by individuals who have devoted themselves to upholding our shared ideals and consistently delivering exceptional service to our clients.”
A key highlight of Wiseview Legal’s impact is its role in nurturing legal talent. The firm has successfully groomed and mentored over 60 lawyers since inception — many of whom have gone on to make significant contributions within and outside the legal industry.
