Upesa, a digital payment platform recently reaffirmed its commitment to driving financial inclusion by sponsoring the July edition of the Monthly Tech & Career Fair (Ibadan Southwest). Powered by stablecoins, Upesa enables users to send, receive, and withdraw both local and global payments instantly, securely, and at low cost using blockchain technology.
The two-day event, hosted by JTconnect, a fast-rising Web3 empowerment platform, which held recently, recorded over 2,000 participants, according to a statement, and featured insightful sessions on blockchain adoption, Web3 innovation, and the future of digital finance in Africa.
As the official sponsor, Upesa provided more than just funding, the brand actively fueled conversations around decentralised finance and practical use cases of blockchain to improve everyday life across the continent.

Boyejo further said that the brand is set to launch a range of new features in the coming months, An “Add Service” feature where digital service providers can list their talents and connect with interested consumers/clients” also including a merchant payment gateway to help businesses easily receive payments at extremely lower fees, peer-to-peer trading options with On-chain FX for fast and seamless currency swaps, and a series of educational programs and community outreach initiatives aimed at empowering young Africans with blockchain knowledge and real earning opportunities.
