UPDC Plc will host its 4th Annual Real Estate Summit on 26 November 2025, with this year’s edition set to examine the role of new towns in shaping Nigeria’s economic future. The event, organised by the company’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr Odunayo Ojo, is expected to convene senior figures from government, industry and the investment community.
The summit will focus on how emerging urban developments — including UPDC’s flagship project, Brompton City — can support sustainable growth, strengthen infrastructure and contribute to national economic transformation.

Lagos State’s Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Bldr. (Dr.) Olumide Abiodun Oluyinka, will attend as Special Guest of Honour. The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Franklin Nnaemeka Ngwu, Director of the Public Sector Initiative and Professor of Strategic Management and Governance at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.
The panel session will feature Engr. Oluwole Olumide Sotire, Permanent Secretary at the Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development; Mrs Erejuwa Gbadebo, Managing Director/CEO of Eko Development Company FZE; and Mr Louis Ogbeifun, Chief Investment Officer of TotalEnergies Nigeria Closed Pension Fund Administrators. The discussion will be moderated by Mr Priye Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer at UPDC Plc.
According to UPDC, the summit aims to deepen conversations around urban expansion, sustainability and the economic potential of new, master-planned communities. The company noted that planned cities and new towns are increasingly being positioned as catalysts for investment, job creation and modern infrastructure delivery across the country.
