Admiral, an American brand known for consumer electronics and home appliances, has officially launched in Nigeria, aiming to provide affordable, energy-efficient products suited to modern households.
Speaking at the launch, V. V. S. Prasad, Managing Director of Deekay Group, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to deliver durable and technologically advanced products that meet the needs of Nigerian homes.
“Admiral is more than a brand; it is a legacy of American engineering and global excellence. We are excited to bring this trusted name to Nigerian homes. Our mission is to provide durable, energy-saving, and technologically advanced products that Nigerians can rely on every day,” Prasad said.
The company entered the Nigerian market through a partnership with Deekay Group, a major distributor of consumer goods and electronics in the country. The collaboration is expected to strengthen Admiral’s reach and ensure reliable after-sales support nationwide.
Admiral’s product line for Nigeria includes washing machines, freezers, refrigerators, cookers, televisions, and fans, designed with a focus on low power consumption and performance efficiency.
Vishal Saxena, Chief Executive Officer of Admiral Appliances and Electronics for Middle East, CIS, Africa, and South Asia, described Nigeria as a key market in the company’s expansion plan.
“Nigeria is one of the fastest-growing economies in Africa and the globe. We are proud to launch Admiral in Nigeria in partnership with Deekay Group, which is one of the most diversified conglomerates in the country with strong distribution and after-sales service,” Saxena said.
He added that Admiral products are available in major retail outlets across the country, with plans to introduce smart appliances in the coming months to support energy-conscious living and improve household efficiency.
