The Oracle of Heirs Holdings will earn over ₦2.28 billion in dividends from the various firms in the Heirs Holdings.
United Bank for Africa (UBA)
United Bank for Africa (UBA), the lender with operations across Africa released its financial statement for year ended December 2017.A final dividend of ₦0.65 per share was declared totalling ₦22.30 billion. The company has an issued share capital of 34,199,421,366 shares.
The majority of the shares are held by Tony Elumelu with 2,272,87,6000 shares, which is 6.67 percent of the total ordinary shares outstanding. This means the Oracle of Heirs Holdings will earn N2.27 billion in dividend.
Transnational Corporation of Nigeria
Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp) has paid a final dividend of ₦0.02 per share for the 2017 financial year. Tony Elumelu has a 2.48 percent stake in the firm amounting to 1.01 billion shares. Tony Elumelu’s will earn a dividend of N20.21 million.
Transcorp Hotels
Transcorp Hotels declared a final dividend of ₦0.1245 per share.
Tony Elemu, through Trancorp Group, has an 83.21 percent stake in the firm amounting to 6,334,100,000 shares. Total dividend thus earned amounted to ₦788.59 million.
