The Next Titan Nigeria Season 10, dubbed “The Unconventional,” premiered in Lagos with a N50 million prize pool and 20 game-changing entrepreneurs, ready to transform their bold ideas into thriving businesses.
The 10th anniversary of Nigeria’s premier entrepreneurial reality TV show kicked off with high energy, promising a 10-week battle of innovation, mentorship, and high-stakes competition.
The season, which drew thousands of applications nationwide, saw contestants pitch their ideas during auditions in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Lagos, and online. From the top 50 applicants, the 20 finalists now reside in the Titan House, where they will tackle weekly business challenges and face boardroom evictions.
The grand prize winner will claim N40 million, with N5 million, N3 million, and N2 million awarded to the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively.
Mide Akinlaja, the executive producer of The Next Titan Nigeria, at the opening launch and premiere evening in Lagos, said this season celebrates the audacity of young Nigerians who dare to redefine what is possible.
The Next Titan is a platform that transforms job-seekers into job-creators, empowering the next generation of business leaders, Akinlaja affirmed.
With N50 million at stake, these 20 visionaries are set to inspire and redefine Nigeria’s entrepreneurial landscape. The Next Titan Nigeria airs weekly, showcasing the rise of the nation’s boldest business minds.
Hon. Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe, the Lagos State’s commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, who represented governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the premiere, praised the show as a driver of economic growth. “This is a movement shaping Nigeria’s future. I urge these entrepreneurs to create jobs and uplift our nation,” Ajigbotafe said.
Daniel Lamberti, title sponsor Betano’s senior business development advisor, aligned the brand’s vision with the show’s mission, stating, “We are celebrating potential. To the contestants: bet on yourselves and win.”
Adetunji Lamidi, divisional head of personal banking, FCMB, added, “The future of Nigeria lies with innovators like these 20 contestants. We’re proud to support a platform offering ideas, mentorship, and funding.”
Guided by judges Kyari Bukar, Tonye Cole, Chris Parkes, and Lilian Olubi, the contestants will navigate a gauntlet of challenges. Supported by sponsors including Betano, FCMB, Sifax Group, Arik Air, Lifemate Furniture, Nikky Taurus, Jerma Wears, XANDA, and NITDA, Season 10 blends competition with real-world impact.
