Sundry Markets Limited, owners of the Marketsquare Supermarkets chain, has issued a clarification regarding recent reports on the temporary sealing of its Sapele Road, Benin store.
In a statement signed by the management, the company reassured customers and stakeholders that it remains fully compliant with tax laws and all statutory obligations in Edo State. The company noted that all required documentation was promptly presented to the relevant authorities, following which the store was reopened without delay.
“We are actively engaging with the relevant authorities to strengthen communication channels and ensure that such misunderstandings do not arise in the future,” the management said.
