This year’s edition of Daystar Christian Centre’s Women of Destiny Conference (WODC) has set a new benchmark for spiritual empowerment and emotional healing, gathering thousands of women from across Nigeria and beyond who attended the conference both physically and virtually with the powerful theme: “Beautified,” reaffirming the wide reach and relevance of the Women of Destiny mandate.
Opening the two-day event, Nike Adeyemi, convener of the Women of Destiny Fellowship and co-pastor at Daystar Christian Centre, declared, “God’s beauty is not merely outward, it is a deep, transformative work that empowers us to shine in every area of life.”
With this message, she ushered in a weekend filled with intense worship, revelatory teaching, and soul-stirring inspiration designed to renew the minds and spirits of women across all walks of life.
Also speaking at the conference, Betty Irabor shared her story of healing and gave a clarion call to women to shed every false label and embrace God’s truth: “Don’t call yourself what God has not called you,” she urged, affirming that in Christ, every woman is royal, chosen, and significant.
Her words resonated deeply, especially in a world where many women grapple with identity, self-worth, and emotional baggage.
Throughout the conference, participants were immersed in a transformational atmosphere that fused faith, authenticity, and practical wisdom. From worship and teaching to panel discussions and real-life testimonies, the gathering sparked a movement of women boldly reclaiming their identity in Christ.

The second day of the conference deepened the experience, offering critical insights on leadership, spiritual growth, and emotional freedom. Pastor Nike’s teachings on forgiveness stood out as a moment of breakthrough for many: “When God asks us to forgive, He’s not asking us to rebuild every relationship. He’s asking us to let go so we can be free.”
This year’s conference featured a stellar lineup of speakers and creatives who brought diverse yet unified messages of hope and strength. Celebrated media personality Betty Irabor, resilience coach, Yami Jeremiah, and Sweeny Mbelu delivered impactful sessions, while renowned gospel singer Adeyinka Alaseyori lifted the atmosphere with passionate praise and worship.
