One of such institution is Bridge House College, an exclusive sixth form College established in January 2005. It started with eight students but today, the college boost of over 200 students. From a little beginning, it has grown over the years as her students churn out excellent performance in Cambridge International Examination and university foundation examinations.
In accepting the pivotal role that sixth form college plays in grooming the next generation of professionals for national development, Bridge House College has embarked on a number of far-reaching initiatives designed to enhance the realisation of its vision in the context of current and future needs of Nigeria in particular and the world in general.
The institution offers the university foundation programme and also does the Cambridge international exams for A levels. In addition, the institution have a unique 1+1 programme, an arrangement which affords students the opportunity to study the first year Cambridge ‘AS’ level at Bridge House College , Lagos and then proceed to complete the A2 level at Brook House College UK.

Richard Balogun, vice principal 2 reiterates that the Cambridge International examination is the number one provider of examination all over the world adding that the college had to leverage on this examination because it identified an existing lacuna in conducting international examination and the need to fill it.
“When the students spend two years in Bridge House College, the grooming they get helps them to be properly integrated from the secondary education into the tertiary education”. Balogun added.
Olabisi Banjo, head counselling and university placement said the business of the college is to ensure that students are properly educated so they can get into good schools.
Banjo opined that the college core business is to groom teenagers that have concluded their secondary education for any university of their choice in Nigeria or Abroad.

“Bridge House College is a brand and we are very particular about the brand. The counselling units ensure that the students are well educated not only so they can get into good universities of their choice, but to continue to carry the bridge house brand when they get to their various universities”.
Carmen Latty, College Administrator, posits that from inception to date, Bridge House College has continued to provide enabling environment for the achievement of academic excellence.
