Resourcery Plc, one of West Africa’s Information Technology Companies, partnered with Cisco Systems, a network technology and solutions provider, to hold a one-day interactive business seminar in Lagos with senior executives in Nigeria’s financial sector who discussed business collaboration solutions that borders on employee productivity and customers satisfaction.
Setting the tone for the seminar themed ‘user experience meets customers experience’, Olugbenga Adanlawo, Solution Manager, Business Collaboration for Resourcery, stated that;
“The growing demand for enhanced employee productivity and improved customer satisfaction which is mostly prevalent in the service industry led us into organising this workshop with select organisations. Resourcery’s partnership with Cisco is aimed at delivering a world class business solution that offers seamless collaboration.”
“We are offering the latest business voice and video solutions with the aim to address challenges hindering various businesses in the delivery of top notch services,” he added.
Morakinyo Salami, System Engineer, Collaboration for Cisco and Bola Adegbonmire, Cisco Collaboration Team Lead Africa; both emphasized the role of Jabber and Jabber Guest application in this latest effort. The Jabber application is a communication end-point with multiple roles in voice, video and text/chat collaboration. This solution marks the departure from the analog telephony to a unified collaboration system that rides on internet protocol.
A demonstration of the Jabber and Jabber guest applications showcased voice/video collaboration that can operate with solutions running on open protocol like H323 and SIP.
