Financial technology company QorePay has launched TAB, a new QR-based payment and business management platform aimed at helping small and medium-sized enterprises manage transactions and daily operations more efficiently.
Unveiled this week, TAB enables businesses across sectors such as hospitality, retail, and services to receive payments instantly through QR codes. It also provides tools for transaction tracking, inventory management, and customer insights on a single dashboard.
According to QorePay’s Chief Executive Officer, Josh Owoseni, the platform was developed in response to feedback from business owners seeking simpler and more reliable payment options. “TAB was built to simplify the way businesses get paid,” Owoseni said. “We listened to small business owners who wanted something fast, reliable, and affordable — and that’s exactly what TAB delivers.”
Through TAB, customers can scan a QR code to view digital menus, place orders, and make payments using any mobile device or bank application. This process helps businesses reduce waiting times and avoid common network delays associated with point-of-sale terminals.
Beyond payments, TAB includes features such as team coordination tools, analytics, and bill-splitting options. It also uses encryption technology, fraud monitoring, and complies with PCI-DSS and anti-money laundering (AML) standards to ensure secure transactions.
QorePay’s Product Manager, Raphael Sobaeh, said the platform’s goal is to support business growth. “We see TAB as more than a product — it’s a movement. We’re helping thousands of merchants take control of their payments, connect better with customers, and scale faster than ever before,” he stated.
The launch comes as digital payment adoption continues to rise across Africa. Analysts say platforms like TAB can help improve efficiency in Nigeria’s informal sector. Businesses can register for TAB through QorePay’s official website.
