…Marks International Women’s Day 2026
François Gillet, the chief executive officer (CEO), Promasidor Nigeria has reiterated the importance role played by women in bringing about positive change in the society in commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026,
“Women are not just participants in development; they are drivers of transformation. At Promasidor, we believe sustainable growth is built on shared opportunity,” Gillet stated, as the brand joins the global community in celebrating the resilience, achievements, and transformative contributions of women under this year’s theme, ‘Give to Gain.’
According to him, ‘Give to Gain’ is more than a theme at Promasidor. He disclosed it is a philosophy that shapes how the company leads, grows, and creates impact. “Through access, mentorship, leadership pathways, and support, we build stronger institutions, resilient communities, and a more prosperous nation. ‘Give to Gain’ is not just a message for today, it is a call to action for the future.”
Gillet added that the theme for 2026 reflects a deep-rooted commitment to empower women across its entire value chain from female professionals driving innovation within its corporate structure to women distributors, retailers, and community partners strengthening its nationwide presence.
According to him, women at Promasidor are not just contributors, catalysts who lead with vision, shape strategy with insight, and unlock new possibilities across the business. “They power operational excellence, champion innovation in the marketplace, and embody the spirit of resilience and transformation that drives sustainable growth.”
He further reiterated that empowering women is both a moral responsibility and a strategic imperative that fuels innovation, operational excellence, and long-term economic progress.
Beyond its corporate structure, Promasidor recognises that women remain at the very heart of its value chain as mothers, caregivers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers who choose its products for their families and businesses. Their trust fuels the company’s purpose.
Gillet disclosed that the company remains intentional in its commitment to promoting gender-inclusive leadership and talent development, supporting female entrepreneurs within its distribution network, advancing policies that encourage work-life balance and productivity, and investing in community initiatives that uplift women and girls.
According to him, Promasidor Nigeria reaffirms that investing in women delivers measurable and sustainable returns not only for business performance but for stronger communities, thriving economies, and inclusive workplaces.
