Presidency on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of Rotimi Pedro, from Lagos State as the new Director General DG of the Nigerian Television Authority NTA
This is just as the President also announced the appointment of 3 other Executive Directors into different departments in the organisation.
The names were displayed on the X handle of @the Presidency on Wednesday, ending several days of speculations on the changes at the television station.
The Presidency, in a post on x handle tiles ” President Tinubu Strengthen ls National Broadcasting, Appoints New NTA DG and EDs, shows that Karimah Bello from Katsina State, was also appointed as the new Executive Director, Marketing.
Other appointments made by the President include, Stella Din, from Plateau state, who is the new Executive Director, News
Sophia Mohammed from Adamawa, representing the North East, was named as the new Managing Director, MD, NTA Enterprises limited
The statement said the appointments, which takes effect immediately, reaffirm the President’s commitment to strengthening national broadcasting as a platform for unity, cohesion, and soft diplomacy.
