The police in Ondo say they will be introducing new strategies alongside other security agencies to flush out criminals from forests in the state.
Taiwo Jesubiyi, the new Commissioner of Police, in Ondo State, who disclosed this, Monday, while speaking with journalists in Akure, said the command under his leadership would review the existing strategy and make the state inhabitable for criminals. He said his command will in synergy with other security agencies, storm forests in borders of Kogi and Edo states
Jesubiyi said that he had been briefed on the black spots and other security situations in the state.

“I am here with my management team to work with the fear of God. We will review existing strategies and come up with improved one to reduce crime rate in the state. With the support of the state government and cooperation of the public, we will go a long way because security is not one man’s job.
“I implore all stakeholders, particularly the public and the media, to work with the police to bring crime to the barest minimum if at all we can’t stamp it out.
“I have been briefed and our plan is to work in synergy with other sister agencies to comb the forest leading to Kogi and Edo states to flush out criminals that are hiding in the forests,” he said.
