Chichi Eriobu, award-winning entrepreneur and founder of Phronesis Foods Nigeria Limited, is set to launch her debut, paperback book titled “How to Pitch Your Business” on Saturday, June 29, 2025, in Lagos.
The book, subtitled “A Practical Guide for Startup Entrepreneurs”, is a no-fluff, hands-on guide that walks entrepreneurs through the steps of crafting and delivering a powerful business pitch especially for grants, investors, and competitions.
Known for her passionate voice in food innovation, women and youth empowerment, and business development, Eriobu wrote the book as a response to the recurring struggles she saw among startup founders who had great ideas but struggled to communicate their value.
“Too many entrepreneurs lose out on funding not because their idea isn’t strong, but because their pitch isn’t clear,” Eriobu says. “I’ve lived it, I’ve won grants through it, and I’ve coached over 2,000+ entrepreneurs through the same journey.”
The launch event will take place at Ikeja, GRA, and would feature:
A live pitch showcase of 10 entrepreneurs, testimonials from past mentees, a book reading and fireside chat with Eriobu; networking, book signing, and a curated photo experience
The event is expected to attract stakeholders from the startup ecosystem, grant bodies, incubators, investors, press, and business mentors.
