PanAfrican Capital Foundation (PAC Foundation) carried out its 2025 end-of-year community outreach in Ajegunle, Lagos, reaching residents through food support and health services.
The outreach took place in December 2025 and focused on household food needs and access to health checks during the festive period. According to the Foundation, 200 bags of food items were shared with 200 households, while 100 residents received health screening and consultations. The programme addressed gaps linked to nutrition and access to care.
Speaking on the outreach, Omolola Ojo, Executive Secretary of PAC Foundation, said the initiative aligned with the Foundation’s focus on meeting immediate needs as a basis for development.
“At PAC Foundation, we believe that sustainable development begins with meeting immediate human needs. This outreach reflects our commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, especially during periods of heightened economic pressure. Beyond the numbers, our goal is to restore dignity, promote wellbeing, and remind people that they are seen and supported.”
Health services were delivered in partnership with Sage Diagnostics. The sessions included health checks and consultations, with an emphasis on early identification of health concerns and awareness around daily health practices.
Oluwayomi Tobi-Ayegun, Programmes and Evaluation Manager at the Foundation, said the outreach was designed to combine support that meets short-term needs with actions that offer future value.
“By combining food support with medical services, we addressed two critical challenges faced by low-income households—nutrition and access to healthcare. The strong turnout and engagement from community members further emphasize the importance of taking such interventions directly to the people who need them most.”
Community representatives in Ajegunle also acknowledged the outreach and its impact. A member of the community leadership team said the programme brought relief to families during a period of financial strain.
“This initiative has brought real relief to our people, especially at a time when many families are struggling. The medical support and food distribution were well-organised and impactful. We are grateful to PAC Foundation for remembering our community and investing in our wellbeing.”
The end-of-year outreach forms part of PAC Foundation’s ongoing work in health, education, environment, economic participation, and community development across Nigeria.
PanAfrican Capital Foundation serves as the social impact arm of PanAfrican Capital Holdings Limited. The Foundation continues to expand its engagement with communities through programmes aimed at improving daily living conditions and access to basic services.
