Sharafadeen Alli, an All Progressives Congress (APC) senator that represents the Oyo South Senatorial District, has lauded Kashim Shettima, vice president of Nigeria, for his exemplary leadership style and unrelenting dedication to the vision of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in steering the country towards economic growth, security and prosperity.
While congratulating Shettima on the occasion of his birthday, he described him as a visionary leader whose commitment to national development continues to inspire millions of Nigerians.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Tuesday, Alli said that the vice president has consistently demonstrated wisdom, courage and patriotism in his service to the country.
According to him, Shettima’s humility, resilience and ability to connect with the people have distinguished him as a true statesman who has earned respect beyond political and regional divides.
Alli further noted that Shettima’s track record as a two-term governor of Borno State and his current role as Vice-President stand as a testament to his passion for progress, his devotion to peace and his unwavering service to humanity.
“As you mark this special day, I pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless you with sound health, long life, wisdom and divine guidance to keep serving our dear nation,” Alli said.
The lawmaker, who is also the Ekarun Balogun of Ibadanland, urged Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu and his vice in their efforts to reposition the country for sustainable development and national unity.
Meanwhile, Senator Alli also celebrates Ajibola Muraina, a member of the Federal House of Representatives, on his birthday.
While joining family, friends, political associates, and well-wishers in celebrating Muraina, Alli described him as a refined politician, distinguished lawyer, and patriotic Nigerian who has contributed immensely to national development, on the occasion of his birthday.
He recalled Muraina’s outstanding service as a federal lawmaker, noting that his commitment to effective representation, legislative excellence and community development set him apart as a role model for younger generations.
Alli said that Muraina’s humility, brilliance and people-oriented approach to politics have continued to endear him to the masses, stressing that he remained a symbol of leadership founded on integrity and dedication.
“Muraina’s remarkable journey in public service and professional life has inspired many of us. He is a leader who places people first and always works for the greater good of society,” Alli said.
The lawmaker prayed for continued sound health, wisdom and divine protection for Muraina, adding that his wealth of experience would remain relevant in shaping Nigeria’s democratic progress and strengthening institutions.

Senator Alli expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Amos Adepoju, the Asiwaju of Igboora land and father of Anthony Adepoju, a member of the House of Representatives, describing his death as a monumental loss.
Alli, in a condolence statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, said the late Adepoju was a gem, father and patriotic leader whose life of service remained exemplary.
“We lost a gem, a father and a patriotic leader. Our father, the Asiwaju of Igboora land, lived a life worthy of emulation. He was a committed and dedicated leader who used all the positions he had the opportunity to hold in serving God, humanity and the Ibarapa community,” Alli said.
The senator recalled with pride the various key positions the late Asiwaju held, including; rector, The Polytechnic Ibadan,
Chairman, 3SC/IICC, Resident Electoral Commissioner in Nasarawa State, Administrative Secretary of Peoples’ Conscience Party (PCP), pioneer national financial secretary of the PDP, and Commissioner at the Board of Immigration, Civil Defence, Correctional and Fire Service.
Alli extended heartfelt condolences to Adepoju, the Adepoju family, the good people of Igboora and the entire Ibarapa land, praying that Almighty God accepts the return of the departed leader and grants his soul eternal rest.
