Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Friday departed Nigeria for Niamey, the capital of Niger Republic at the head of delegation representing President Muhammadu Buhari at an Extraordinary ECOWAS summit holding in that country.
Osinbajo is joining other ECOWAS Heads of States and Government, at the summit that will focus on and review the ongoing situation in Guinea Bissau.
A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande, said the Vice President who departed Abuja this morning for the summit is expected back in Nigeria today, after the summit
The Vice President is being accompanied by top government officials on the trip.
