In-form Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has hailed his Galatasaray teammates for their fighting spirit after the Turkish champions came from behind to beat Göztepe 3–1 in a Turkish Super Lig fixture at RAMS Park on Sunday.
Osimhen, who played a key role in the comeback, lauded the squad’s resilience and unity after initially falling behind early in the match.

“I love the mentality we showed,” Osimhen said in his post-match briefing.
“Even when we went down, nobody dropped their heads. Everyone kept pushing, and that’s what made the difference.”
The 26-year-old former Napoli forward also thanked the Galatasaray supporters for their passionate backing, describing them as the “real energy” behind the team’s strong response.
“The fans have always been there for us. Their passion and belief drive us to give everything on the pitch,” Osimhen added.
Osimhen’s fine form continued as he registered his sixth goal in nine league appearances this season, scoring in three consecutive matches for the Yellow and Reds.
Galatasaray’s victory keeps them firmly in the title race as they prepare for a crucial clash against Trabzonspor, where Osimhen will face his compatriot Paul Onuachu in what promises to be another exciting encounter.
