Amaju Pinnick, President Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has disclosed that Sunday Oliseh, the Nigeria Super Eagles coach could spend up to 15 years as coach of National team if all developmental potentials and technology-based platforms available are properly harnessed to ensure brilliant performance and progress of Super Eagles among countries of the world.
Pinnick, who spoke in Abeokuta on Friday at a maiden South-West States Football Summit organised by South-West States Football Forum, including Ogun, Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti states, noted that series of technical efforts had been taken to ensure that Oliseh and all members of Super Eagles technical crew succeed in a big task of coaching the team.
Speaking on technical ability of Oliseh in respect of sensitive assignments attached to Super Eagles management, Pinnick said, “we appointed Sunday Oliseh because of his developmental potentials; he is cerebral, educated and sound. He is a manager who can manage all the components in football.
“Although, people talk about experience, what technology has done to sports, especially football has overshadowed experience.

“Oliseh is a young man, he can be there (as a Super Eagles coach) for 10-15 years. With what he has brought to Super Eagles, I can tell you that he will not only take Nigeria to greatness, he will also nurture another team that will continue from where he will stop.
“As a policy in the Federation now, we don’t want to change coaches every time. Oliseh’s appointment case was purely professional and of course, he would have read the A-Z of his contract before appending his signature.
“I can assure you that everything we did was mutually agreed upon and like I said if everything is going right, we don’t need to change our coach for the next 10 years. Why do we need to change coach? Because the more you are on the job, the more you learn, using technology and other devices.”
