The new tax laws signed by President Bola Tinubu on Thursday has changed the Federal Inland Revenue Service FIRS to now Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS).
Zacch Adedeji, Chairman of the NRS announced this on Thursday, while briefing State House Journalists.

He noted that the Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Bill 2024, repealed the Federal Inland Revenue Service Establishment Act, No. 13, 2007 and establish the Nigeria Revenue Service to assess, collect, and account for revenue accruable to the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN).
