Serie A champions Napoli have reportedly directed Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to report for pre-season training ahead of the 2025/26 season.
According to La Repubblica, Napoli will resume preparations on July 15 at the Castel Volturno Sports Centre and have scheduled to send Osimhen an official letter by Monday, June 30, ordering him to join the squad.

The 26-year-old, whose loan spell at Galatasaray officially ends at midnight on Monday, is still under contract with Napoli until June 2026.
Despite the uncertainty over his future, Osimhen remains a Napoli player and will be expected to report to camp if no transfer is completed before the training kickoff.
Osimhen was in fine form during his loan stint with Turkish giants Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists across all competitions, helping them to a domestic double. His performances reignited interest from top European clubs.
Osimhen’s relationship with Napoli turned sour last summer following his refusal to move to Saudi Arabia, reportedly due to Napoli’s increased financial demands. That breakdown led to a strained exit, but with no transfer finalised yet, the club is counting on his presence for the start of pre-season.
