…Explains Chamber dynamics as a place of business & friendliness
President of the National Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Dele Oye, has once again affirmed the significant position of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce in NACCIMA saying it is very important to NACCIMA.
He said the executives must continue to work in one accord to maintain that significance and to achieve set objectives.
The NACCIMA boss made this assertion during a courtesy visit to the chamber where he met with the President, Chinyere Nwoga, and Isaac Wonwu and Godwin Etim (first and second deputy presidents), Billy Harry and Vincent Furo (past presidents), among other exco members.
The NACCIMA President who was accompanied by the NACCIMA National Vice President Edo/Delta state chapter, Patricia Idiakhoa, among others, said a Chamber of Commerce is an organization that unites businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals, and promotes friendliness, so if your intentions are outside this scope you definitely have no business being a member of the chamber.
The NACCIMA boss said as leaders their concern should revolve around promoting economic growth, enriching the business environment, and championing the interests of members because the Chamber is a wellspring of resources, connections, and support, offering a range of services aimed at nurturing growth, sustainability and friendliness.
He commended the leadership and gave more tips on how Chambers work.
He commended the president and urged all to continue to support the President, because if the President fails, it is assumed that everyone of has failed.

In her remark, Nwoga showered appreciations on the NACCIMA boss on the mission to PH.
Hear her: “My President, just to inform you, I have two strong men beside me as first and second deputy Presidents who support me. We are all working as a team, and in strides to move this chamber forward. Within the four months of assumption of office this administration has extensively engaged with critical stakeholders and partners, and has facilitated programmes that has added value to our members, and we intend to sustain this momentum”. she assured him.
Others who made remark include Billy Gillis Harry, PHCCIMA President and former national vice president of NACCIMA.
