Ugonna Bede-Nwokoye, Oyindamola Apampa, and Nnoli Finbar have received over ₦8 million in scholarships to study at Multi-Plan Pathway College (MPC), a premier Sixth Form institution in Lagos.
The three students from Lagoon and Whitesands Schools were awarded scholarships for their excellent performance in a competitive examination process and for demonstrating academic potential, discipline, and leadership qualities.
Mary Agbu, managing director of Multi-Plan Pathway College, said the scholarship recognises students who not only excel academically but also demonstrate strong character, leadership potential, and a genuine commitment to personal growth.
According to Agbu, these scholarships cover tuition and full access to MPC’s internationally recognised pre-university programmes, including Cambridge A-Levels, University Foundation, SAT, IELTS, and TOEFL preparation.
She said that MPC believes in preparing students for life, not just university, and that means equipping them with the mindset, values, and global exposure they need to lead with confidence and make meaningful contributions wherever they go in the world.
This milestone underscores MPC’s commitment to providing world-class education and personalised academic guidance to Nigeria’s brightest young minds.
“Multi-Plan Pathway College has established strong partnerships with top institutions across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Africa, enabling direct placements into globally recognised universities such as Pan-Atlantic University in Lagos, Ashesi University in Ghana, Lancaster University Ghana, the University of Alberta in Canada, DePaul University in Chicago, the University of Navarre in Spain, Nottingham Trent University and Queen’s University Belfast in the UK, and St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada,” she said.
Speaking on the significance of the scholarship and how it aligns with MPC’s mission, Tolu Adepoju, College Director, said the role is to walk alongside each student, whether they’re confident about their future or still figuring it out. Education should be both a compass and a catalyst.”
Adepoju said that beyond academics, Multi-Plan Pathway College provides a nurturing environment that emphasises character development, critical thinking, and personalised guidance.
“With small class sizes and a growth-focused culture, students receive the support they need to thrive, not just in university, but in life”.
“With this initiative, MPC continues to strengthen its role as a key driver of academic excellence and leadership development in Nigeria. The college plans to expand its scholarship programme in the coming years, making world-class education even more accessible to talented students across the country”. Adepoju said.
Ada Mildred Nnoli, mother of one of the scholarship recipients, Finbar Nnoli, also shared her appreciation:
“I would love to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible opportunity Multi-Plan Pathway College has extended to my son. The chance to attend the A-Level programme on a 100 percent scholarship during his gap year. This is truly a dream come true for our family.”
“Receiving the news that he not only did well but earned a full scholarship was one of the most joyful and humbling moments for us, especially in a season marked by financial constraints. We’re excited about this new phase of his academic journey and confident that he will make MPC, our community, and his family proud,” she added.
