The new LG chest freezer which is specifically designed for African countries where a lot of inadequacies in power supply persists. It is fitted with the powerful compressor that comes with a super fast blast freezing feature and the Low Voltage Stabiliser (LVS).
The Low Voltage Stabiliser (LVS) is truly the practical piece of technology that allows the chest freezer to function properly, even when local electricity supply is unstable. Speaking with newsmen at the launch, Lagos, weekend, Hyunmoo Jung, general manager home appliances division, LG Electronics stressed that LG as a company understands the durability of the new chest freezer which is the second generation.

This is due to the fact that we are confident that the product is first of its kind with recent powerful technology. He said the newly introduced LG chest freezer which was made in Korea is an ideal for the consumers that have to contend with inconsistent power supply in Nigeria and some other African countries. The clever technology enables continuous operation despite fluctuations in voltage (135V to 290V). Ensuring that food stays frozen and removing the need for a separate voltage stabiliser, the LVS can help consumers to save money,” he said.
