In a bid to live up to its agenda of economic inclusion through collaborative partnerships, Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP), an Agency of Kwara State Government, on Monday said it had finalised arrangements to partner SUREMech, a leading automobile repair and maintenance platform.
Stating that, this initiative aligns with the vision of the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq noted that Kwara State is, known for his youth-friendly policies.
Abdulwasiu Tejidini, the General Manager of KWASSIP, stated this when representatives from SUREMech, paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
The General Manager expressed his enthusiasm about the potential partnership, saying, “We are excited about the prospect of collaborating with SUREMech to equip our youths with valuable skills. This partnership has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of our beneficiaries and contribute to the state’s economic development.”
Tejidini pledged his unalloyed support towards the project, adding that his door is always open for structured discussions.
Earlier, Samuel Akhibi, the Founder of SUREMech, proposed a collaborative effort with KWASSIP to sponsor selected youths for training at SUREMech Academy, explaining that the initiative aims to empower young Nigerians with skills in automobile repair and maintenance, enhancing their employability and economic prospects.
Akhibi further expressed commitment to support youth development and empowering the next generation of automobile professionals.
A statement by Abdulganiyu Bukola, the Press Secretary, KWASSIP quoted him saying, “we believe that this partnership will not only benefit the youths but also contribute to the growth and development of Kwara State.”
The proposed partnership aligns with KWASSIP’s mission to support vulnerable populations and promote economic inclusion in Kwara State, creating opportunities for youth development and contributing to the state’s economic growth.
