Three new Agro–Products have been introduced into the market by Kingsway Quality Foods Ltd, an agro-based food company, with Bee-Keeping farm projects and a NAFDAC approved modern factory in Ibadan, as the company strives to expand operations and market penetration to deliver more value to consumers.
“These products are the result of many years of market research. The company has popular brands that are ten years in the market and are doing well. For example, Kingsway Honey – Regular size, Souvenir packs and Petit packs are some of the company’s products that are ten years in the market and are enjoying huge demand,” said Tunji Falade, CEO of Kingsway Quality Foods.
The company’s newest entrants to the market are the Kingsway Honey Sachet pack size, Kingsway Wedding Honey and Crunchy –Crunchy packaged branded snacks. These products according to the company are produced under strict and hygienic conditions in a NAFDAC Approved modern factory.
Falade explains, “Kingsway Honey Sachet is a travel pack-size which is suitable for today’s fast-paced world because it is honey on the ‘move’, and it is convenient to carry around, while benefitting from the numerous health benefits it offers. Moreover, the Crunchy–Crunchy Snacks is designed from Nigerian agricultural products/crops, and are naturally spiced for the pleasure of consumers. It is produced according to international standards and positioned to replace unnecessary imported snacks that drain the country’s foreign exchange.”
The company has also received recognition for its innovative and quality product delivery, winning the 2016 Local Content Award for Outstanding Achievement in Raw Materials Utilization and Innovation by the Raw Materials Research and Development Council.
Falade the company’s CEO, stressed the importance of organic honey as nature’s sweetener that is ideal for healthy living.
“The nutritional experts have affirmed that honey is a better alternative to artificially manufactured sweeteners like refined sugar and saccharine. It is said to boost overall health and provide natural energy.
